Natural lookout in Tarragona, Spain
Spain is a country with many contrasts. There you can find ancient ruins and incredible landscapes, as well as beautiful modern architecture. This is a natural lookout right next to the old monastery of Escornalbou in Riudecanyes, a small town in the province of Tarragona, which is located in the region of Catalonia, Spain. This monastery is on the mountains, surrounded by trees and endless landscapes. And at its foot there is this natural lookout, from where you can admire the amazing views.
As you can see in the image, the clouds helped to create a magnificent scene, beautiful and magical. It felt like you could touch them, and this kind of scenes easily captivates me, since I love dramatic skies. But this one is not the only corner in Tarragona that´s worth seeing. In the old part of the city, you´ll find the gorgeous Roman walls that are part of an archaeological walk. From those walls you can get incredible views of the old city with picturesque vintage buildings of many different colors, again, surrounded by huge mountains. So this city is worth visiting, I mean it! If you want to see more images of Spain, including the area that surrounds the monastery of Escornalbou and the old city of Tarragona, click here.

I submitted this blog post to the Photo for the Week #12 Challenge: Clouds.
Dear Eduardo, well done great job! As always with those systems…trial and error makes the master.
I agree, Sabina. Again, thank you for telling me. Have a good weekend 🙂
Dear Eduardo, this landscape is beautiful but I think that your picture should go into another folder, because the folder “hand made” is for handpainted art and we should not confuse the customers and mix it all up. Just move it very simple…..
Hi Sabina. At first I wasn´t sure what did you mean since I didn´t put any of my images in such category, so I cliked on Edit Post and I didn´t find that category. Then I realized what was happening. The problem is that when you edit the post, it appears as “Fine Art” only, hence my confusion. But then on the website itself it shows as “Hand Made Fine Art”, for what I can see. And of course I agree with you. Thank you for making me notice. Already fixed it.
Thank you very much, appreciate your comment and I´m happy you like the image 🙂 skies are a fundamental part of my photography, I love them too!
Beautiful photo. I agree, the clouds give it a very dramatic feeling. I love photographing skies like that.
Totally beautiful!
Thank you Tatiana 🙂
Love the drama in these clouds. Thank you for entering xx
My pleasure, I thank you for the challenge!
